Warranty Details

LIMITED MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY

This Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty (“Warranty”) applies to all Techfences™ branded fencing products, including Cedartech™, Vinyltech™, and Alumitech™ lines.
This Warranty covers defects in materials under normal residential use and conditions, subject to the terms, limitations, and exclusions outlined below.
This Warranty is separate from any installation or workmanship warranty and applies to materials only.

I. ALUMITECH™ (ALUMINUM FENCING)

Coverage
Alumitech™ aluminum fencing is warranted for lifetime limited coverage to the original purchaser against:

• Structural failure due to manufacturing defects

• Peeling, cracking, or blistering of the powder-coated finish

• Rust-through corrosion under normal conditions

Manufacturing Sources

• Standard inventory (STS) aluminum products are sourced internationally and carry manufacturer-supported lifetime coverage

• Custom and non-stock aluminum products manufactured by Catalyst Fence Solutions are covered under equivalent lifetime warranty standards

Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:

• Surface scratching, abrasion, or normal weathering

• Damage caused by improper installation or misuse

• Acts of God, including but not limited to storms, flooding, or fallen objects

• Saltwater or coastal exposure unless otherwise specified

• Modifications or alterations by third parties

II. VINYLTECH™ (VINYL / PVC FENCING)

Coverage
Vinyltech™ fencing is warranted for lifetime limited coverage to the original purchaser against:

• Cracking, splitting, or structural failure due to manufacturing defects

• Excessive discoloration or abnormal ultraviolet degradation

Manufacturing Sources

• Domestically manufactured vinyl products produced by Homeland Vinyl Products carry a lifetime limited warranty

• Select imported vinyl products (including Limerick privacy fencing) are covered under Techfences™ lifetime standards consistent with industry expectations

Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:

• Normal weathering, fading, or dirt accumulation

• Damage from impact (equipment, sports, etc.)

• Warping caused by external heat sources (grills, fire pits, reflective surfaces, etc.)

• Improper installation or use outside intended application
  

III. CEDARTECH™ (WOOD FENCING)

Coverage
Cedartech™ wood fencing products are warranted for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase against:

• Premature rot or decay under normal conditions

• Excessive warping beyond industry standards

• Abnormal or excessive splitting inconsistent with natural drying

Natural Characteristics of Wood
Wood is a natural material and will:

• Expand, contract, and weather over time

• Exhibit cracking, checking, knots, and grain variation

• Change color as it ages

These are inherent characteristics and are not considered defects.

Non-Manufactured Wood Products
Wood products sold without modification (including but not limited to split rail fencing) are not covered under this Warranty unless expressly stated.

IV. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Eligibility

• Applies to the original purchaser only

• Non-transferable unless otherwise stated in writing

What Is Covered

• Defects in materials under normal residential use

• Products properly installed and maintained according to guidelines

What Is Not Covered

• Labor, installation, or removal costs

• Freight or transportation costs

• Commercial or industrial applications unless approved in writing

• Improper storage, handling, or installation

• Damage caused by failure to obtain required permits or approvals

V. CLAIMS PROCESS

To initiate a warranty claim, the purchaser must:

1. Provide proof of purchase

2. Submit photographs and a description of the issue

3. Allow reasonable opportunity for inspection

Techfences™ reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:

• Repair or replace defective materials

• Provide material credit in lieu of replacement

VI. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Techfences™ shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages

• Liability is limited to the original purchase price of the materials

• No other warranties, express or implied, shall apply beyond those stated herein
  

VII. EFFECTIVE DATE

This Warranty applies to all qualifying Techfences™ products purchased on or after January 5, 2026.
